Principal Investigator

After obtaining an MD in Spain in 1999, Eduardo moved to Switzerland where he earned his PhD at Geneva University in 2006 on the study of molecular and cellular mechanisms of post-natal neurogenesis in the rodent brain. He then completed a first postdoc in Marseille (Aziz Moqrich’s lab, IBDM) to explore the molecular programs involved in sensory neuron specification (2006-2010). He then spent four more years in the lab of prof. Fen-Biao Gao (University of Massachusetts) where he studied epigenetics and miRNAs.
Eduardo is a tenured Research Scientist at CNRS since 2015.
